According to the media reports, drivers in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) earn a salary within Pay Band Level 5, which ranges from Rs 29,200 to Rs 92,300.

According to data released by the Prime Minister’s Office (as of September 30, 2023), the basic salary of drivers working in the PMO, excluding the pension amount, ranges from Rs 44,100 to Rs 42,800. At that time, there were four cab drivers employed in the PMO.

In 2023, cooks working in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) received a salary under Pay Band Level 1, ranging  reportedly from Rs 18,000 to Rs 56,900. The basic salary of a cook was Rs 20,300.

Clerks working in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) are responsible for general office tasks as well as maintaining records. Clerks in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) are paid a salary under Pay Band Level 2, ranging from Rs 19,000 to Rs 63,200. The basic pay of a clerk in the PMO is Rs 33,604.
