VOA Mandarin: China's finance, property companies saw workforces shrink in last 5 years

The financial industry had 12.4 million employees at the end of 2023, down 32% from 2018, and the number of people working for real estate developers slipped 27% to 2.7 million people, according to China’s economic census data released December 26.
