Internal security focus is threats led by faceless, borderless terrorism

India's internal security focus is shifting towards combating modern terrorism as traditional hotspots see a decline in violence. Challenges include the Manipur conflict, implementation of new criminal laws and Census 2025, organised gangs and pro-Khalistan elements, cybersecurity issues, and managing northeastern and Jammu and Kashmir regions.
