Border areas, remote villages in Ladakh digitally connected: Army

The Indian Army, working with telecom providers, has brought 4G connectivity to remote villages in Ladakh, including Kargil and Siachen, over the past five months. This project installed 42 mobile towers, aiding local communities and soldiers. The initiative will boost tourism, improve access to online education and healthcare, and create economic opportunities.
