Tony O’Neill: Never again.

William Greaves: I mean, it was a very rough ride.

O’Neill: I suppose. I needed a break.

Greaves: Oh, sure. Yeah. But wait a minute.

O’Neill: I write them out of order. Not consciously.

Greaves: You want to know more. It can be very destructive, can be very corrosive and destabilising of a person’s mental health, psychology or society, or it can be very nourishing.

O’Neill: Something pure like this, it’s easily parodied.

Greaves: Spooky stuff. (Laughs)

O’Neill: Life is episodic, uneven.

Greaves: How can I say, in a much more wholesome way, that it’s not just tied to, let’s call it the industry?

O’Neill: Nervous, because I don’t like joining into group activities.

Greaves: Yeah, sure. You're just one instrument in the orchestra as an actor.

O’Neill: Everything else is negotiable.

Greaves: You know, what does that mean?

O’Neill: It’s quiet except for the mice in the ceiling and the hum of the air conditioner.
