Cabinet approves Rs 69,515 crore boost for PM Fasal Bima Yojana

The Union Cabinet approved the extension of the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana and Restructured Weather Based Crop Insurance Scheme until 2025-26, with a total outlay of Rs 69,515.71 crore. Additionally, a Fund for Innovation and Technology with Rs 824.77 crore was created to enhance yield estimation and weather data systems.
