Chandrababu Naidu set to expand TDP base in Telangana; to contest local body elections this year

Chandrababu Naidu, TDP national president, is aiming to rebuild the party in Telangana for the upcoming local body elections in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation. He is dissolving existing committees, initiating a membership drive, and holding regular meetings. TDP sees an opportunity after BRS's poor performance in the 2023 Assembly elections.
