Bhuvnesh Kumar assumes charge as CEO of UIDAI

Bhuvnesh Kumar, an IAS officer from the Uttar Pradesh cadre, has become the CEO of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). He has held several key positions both at the Centre and in Uttar Pradesh. Kumar is also an additional secretary in the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. He has an extensive background in administration and governance.
