Gold Rate Today: Yellow metal trades at Rs 76,814/10 gm; silver soars Rs 142 per kg

Gold prices edged higher on January 1, 2025, following a strong 2024. February gold futures rose by Rs 66 to Rs 76,814 per 10 grams. Despite pressure from a rising dollar index and US housing data, gold saw positive movement.
