Quad renews pledge towards working for free, stable Indo-Pacific

India and other Quad nations reaffirmed their commitment to a free, open, and prosperous Indo-Pacific. They emphasized support for ASEAN and Pacific Islands Forum while recalling their joint disaster response efforts following the 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake. The Quad pledged to build on past cooperation for regional disaster preparedness and humanitarian initiatives.
