Farmers hold mahapanchayat at Zero Point in Greater Noida, seek increased land compensation

Farmers from Sanyukt Kisan Morcha are holding a Mahapanchayat at Zero Point in Noida to demand increased compensation for land acquired for Yamuna Expressway. Despite a committee's recommendations, they have not seen any progress. Several protests and arrests in December highlight their frustration. Farmer leader Rakesh Tikait is expected to join the protest.
