The best NFL Week 17 anytime TD scorer bets, including Josh Allen

What once appeared to be an insurmountable lead for Josh Allen in the MVP race is down to just a slight edge over Lamar Jackson, who some people might even say is the front-runner.

Allen’s odds at BetMGM have lengthened to -225 over the last couple weeks, leaving Jackson not far behind at +175 after he threw for two touchdowns and ran for another in Baltimore’s 31-2 thumping of the Texans on Christmas. If Allen wants to get Jackson off his heels, he’ll need to respond Sunday against the Jets.

So far this season, he’s been able to do that. His 11 rushing touchdowns are second-most by a quarterback behind Jalen Hurts. That includes eight in his last six games. Against the division rival Jets, Allen is one of my favorite bets to add to that total and keep his lead in the MVP race.
