Avalanche warning issued for Uttarakhand's Chamoli

An orange alert for an avalanche at an altitude of over 3,000 metres has been issued for Uttarakhand's Chamoli district by the Defence Geoinformatics Research Establishment (DGRE). The alert is valid for 24 hours from 5 pm on Sunday to 5 pm on Monday.
