Reports suggest that the 1958 model was priced at Rs 45 lakh (ex-showroom) before production stopped. It featured a 3249 CC 4-cylinder engine, a 65-litre fuel tank, and delivered a mileage of 14 km/l on highways and 11 km/l in cities. The car was considered luxurious for its time and even came equipped with power steering, a rare feature back then.

The car was originally purchased by Mohanlal’s father-in-law, renowned film producer K Balaji, who bought it from Ambani. Mohanlal has since maintained the vehicle in excellent condition, preserving its vintage charm.
