Newly hired Red Wings Todd McLellan begins coaching mid-season in Detroit

One day after former Red Wings head coach Derek Lalonde was fired, newly hired coach Todd McLellan took over ahead of the team's matchup on Friday against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
