The Spiders make the short trip to Maryhill to bring 2024 to a close against city rivals Partick Thistle at Firhill on Saturday afternoon.
Despite it only being December, this will already be the fourth meeting of the sides this season, with the one coming a month ago at Hampden in what turned out to be a memorable Scottish Cup Third Round clash which went all the way to penalties.
Ahead of this one, the club media team spoke to Head Coach Callum Davidson and goalkeeper Calum Ferrie at Lochinch.

The season so far The Spiders go into this one on the back a 2-1 defeat at home to Raith Rovers just over a week ago where despite a dominant first half performance, they went in a goal behind at the break. The visitors doubled their lead in the second half through Aidan Connolly before substitute Ryan Duncan riffled home to give the Spiders hope in the closing stages. Ultimately it was not enough and the visitors left with all three points.
Thistle go into this one sitting fourth in the table, four points ahead of Queen’s having played a game less. Their last outing was a 2-0 win away to bottom of the table Airdrieonians last Saturday with both goals coming in the first half courtesy of Brian Graham and Daniel O’Reilly.
