• Bay Area Music Theatre’s production of Roger Bean’s holiday-themed jukebox musical “The Winter Wonderettes” runs through Jan. 5 at Marin Shakespeare Company’s indoor theater at 514 Fourth St. in San Rafael. • Ross Valley Players’ production of James Valcq and Fred Alley’s musical “The Spitfire Grill,” based on the 1996 drama film about a woman recently released from prison, opens with a preview performance at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 23 at the Barn Theater at 30 Sir Francis Drake Blvd. in Ross.
