Govt achieved several firsts in 2024 including approval of four semicon projects: Meity

The chip fabrication unit, being set up at Dholera in Gujarat, is a joint venture project of India’s Tata Electronics and Taiwan’s Powerchip Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation. The unit will have a capacity of manufacturing 50,000 wafer starts per month.
