Last-minute shopping on Christmas Eve. Here's what local shoppers say about their experience
LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) -- There are two kinds of Christmas shoppers: those who start months in advance and others who choose to live dangerously with their time management. Today, News 10 spoke with some shoppers who waited until the final hours to complete their list.
On Christmas Eve, shoppers were out, trying to finish their holiday shopping.
Krissy August said it's been hectic for her as she tries to grab a few items to complete her list, saying, "There's nothing in the stores."
Mateo Romero said he usually waits until the last minute to go shopping, but this time it's caused him a bit of stress.
"It's very stressful for me for sure because one person I'm trying to I was trying to shop for my godchild. The entire Lego section was completely empty. And now it's like my main thing that I was going for."
However, not every shopper News 10 spoke to found the experience frantic.
Shannon Wright said his experience with last-minute shopping is not that bad. He did most of his shopping online, so he's calm, cool, and collected.
"So, it was really not hectic because I'm a last-minute person for a few things that I had to get. I was in and out since the rest is stuff I ordered online."
