Plenty of Brazilian clubs showing interest in Richarlison

If you have followed Spurs Web’s coverage over the last week, you would know that a number of Brazilian sides are now plotting a move to take Richarlison back to his home country in January.

This includes the likes of Fluminense, Flamengo, Corinthians, Palmeiras, and Vasco da Gama, but it has emerged over recent days that Tottenham are not willing to sanction the player’s sale in the upcoming transfer window.

This is because Ange Postecoglou’s men reportedly see the 27-year-old as an important squad player and will not entertain the idea of letting him go before the end of the campaign.

Richarlison’s Tottenham stance revealed

Brazilian reporter, Saisa Simplicio, has now offered an update on the Tottenham man’s future, confirming that he is indeed the subject of interest from plenty of clubs back in his home country.

However, she explains that Richarlison has no interest in leaving N17 during the upcoming transfer window, with the player focused on regaining his place under Ange Postecoglou.

The outlet adds that the forward will reevaluate his future at the end of the season and might be open to returning to Brazil during the summer window.

January transfer would not make sense for Tottenham

It would appear that neither Richarlison nor Tottenham are particularly keen on doing any deal in January.

It is also worth noting that none of the British outlets have talked up the chances of the former Everton man leaving the club mid-season, with all of these updates coming from Brazilian sources.

It appears quite clear that Spurs and the striker will both re-assess the situation at the end of the season, with the player likely to stay put until the summer.
