NASA’s Parker Solar Probe poised for Christmas Eve flyby of the Sun

NASA's Parker Solar Probe is set to make history Tuesday with the closest-ever approach to the Sun, coming within 6.2 million kilometres of the solar surface as it explores the Sun's corona, or outer atmosphere.
