Jeannie Mai’s Daughter Monaco Has a Heart-Melting Request for Santa
Jeannie Mai’s newest video of her beyond adorable daughter shows how the little girl has already mastered the spirit of the season. Monaco — who somehow turns three next month! — had the sweetest chat with Santa, and it’s clear she knows this time of year is as much about giving as it is about receiving.
In the video that Mai shared on Instagram, Santa asks Monaco if he should bring her a special toy. The toddler, who is affectionately known as “Coco,” immediately suggests that he also brings a special toy to her mom. And yes, our hearts instantly melted! She’s not like every other kiddo who [understandably!] wants a toy for themselves this Christmas. She wants to make she her mom gets something nice too.
“Oh, mommy’s been good too?” Saint Nick asked Monaco. “Yeah!” she insisted, in her iconic raspy voice.
“It’s good to know mommy’s not on the naughty list,” Santa joked. “Nooo!” Coco said. “Not me and not my mommy.”
Followers were so touched by Coco’s commitment to getting her mom a gift from Santa. “Coco is a true rider for her mommy! ????” “Awwww she loves her mommy. So cute ❤️” “Respectful, considerate, and beautiful is what Jeannie Mai gave birth too. We love you Monaco keep shining.❤️”
In a later slide, Monaco made a silly face while showing off her expertly crafted gingerbread house, and it’s clear the toddler is fully ready for the holidays!
Earlier this month, Mai — who shares Coco with ex Jeezy — posted a hilarious video of her daughter’s reaction to her Elf on the Shelf‘s undisclosed antics. While most kids think their mischievous elves are hilarious, Coco was unimpressed.
“You can’t do that!” she admonished. “That’s not nice!”
“Time out!” the little cutie added before sighing and walking off.
Between her disappointment in her elf’s behavior and her sweet request to Santa, it really is clear that the little munchkin is firmly on the Nice List. (And her mommy too!)
