Remains of two dead found in two days, Ville Platte police say
VILLE PLATTE, La. (KLFY) -- After a body was found in a field on Sunday south of the Martin Luther King Jr. Center, Ville Platte police said human remains were found today just north of Ville Platte.
Identification of the body and human remains is still pending.
The body was found Sunday in a field located south of the Martin Luther King Jr. Center. Ville Platte police and the Evangeline Parish Sheriff's Office responded to the scene.
The human remains were found off Tate Cove Road, north of Ville Platte.
No other details about the body or the human remains were provided on Monday.
The investigations remain ongoing.
