Karnataka based society urges NHAI to enforce Green Highways Policy following NGT directive

The Aranya Society is demanding the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) implement the 2015 Green Highways Policy. They allege NHAI's disregard for environmental safeguards during highway projects has caused significant deforestation. The Society, after approaching the National Green Tribunal, is now pushing for policy adherence and accountability for past damages.
