TCS shares in focus as co sells 30% stake in South African arm worth Rs 28 crore to comply with norms

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is divesting a 30% stake in its South African subsidiary, TCS SA, to Isisekelo Sethu Trust for ₹28 crore. This move aims to comply with South Africa's Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) guidelines. TCS SA contributed 0.39% to TCS's consolidated income as of March 31, 2024.
