Southeast Columbus shooting leaves 21-year-old man dead

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- A man died following a shooting at Tussing Elementary School near Reynoldsburg Saturday evening, according to Columbus police.

Police were called to the school on the 7000 block of Tussing Road around 8:40 p.m. The victim, who police identified Sunday as 21-year-old Vance Stiers, was taken to a hospital by Truro Township medics. He was pronounced dead at 9:52 p.m.

A preliminary investigation by police said this was possibly a robbery. Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call police at 614-645-2040.
