NFL playoff scenarios for Week 16 with several teams in position to clinch
Week 16 playoff scenarios going into Sunday’s games are drastically different in the AFC than they are in the NFC. Though each conference has three teams looking to clinch something, the AFC teams all played earlier in the week. So, whether it’s the Chiefs looking to lock up the No. 1 seed or the Broncos and Chargers looking to seal their playoff berths, they’ll be relying on other teams for help.
In the NFC, at least one team — the Washington Commanders — will need a little help if they plan to clinch this week. Otherwise, the Eagles and Packers have clinching scenarios that fall squarely on their own shoulders.
