Urinary tract infections are common in women, say doctors

One in three women has an episode before she turns 25, and contrary to the belief that dirty toilets lead to UTI, a woman contracts the infection by not voiding the bladder periodically, said doctors at a webinar organised by The Hindu and Naruvi Hospitals, Vellore.
