Udupi's banking sector witnesses 10.47% growth in business, shows strong support for MSMEs and entrepreneurs

Udupi district's banking sector saw a 10.47% surge, reaching Rs 60,519 crore. Bank credit rose by 10.06% to Rs 19,535 crore. Deposits increased by 10.66%, totaling Rs 40,984 crore. Disbursements under various schemes, including MSME and farm credit, were highlighted. MP Kota Shrinivas Poojary urged banks to expedite loan processing for beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana.
