The hotel’s architectural narrative begins in its soaring lobby, where arched ceilings create dramatic sight lines enhanced by the interplay of antiqued copper finishes and stone surfaces. Public spaces include a restaurant, book bar, tea room, conference facilities, and multipurpose areas, all unified by a design philosophy that emphasizes the dialogue between interior and exterior environments.

Natural materials dominate the material palette: cotton, linen, grass, and wood are deployed throughout to create what the designers describe as a “modern Eastern aesthetic.” The shared spaces are anchored by wooden columns, while vintage wooden furniture adds depth to the tactile experience. The restaurant area connects to the kitchen through geometric openings screened by fabric partitions, creating a subtle interplay between service and dining spaces. The “See Mountain” tea room exemplifies the property’s design ethos, combining brick, wood, calligraphy, and living plants to create an environment that honors traditional tea culture while remaining decidedly contemporary.
