Laura Harrier Blasts 'Weirdo' Shameik Moore for Insinuating That They're Dating
Laura Harrier is calling out Shameik Moore.
The 34-year-old Doctor Odyssey actress recently took to TikTok to share a video blasting the 29-year-old Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse actor after he shared a post insinuating that they’re dating, even though she’s happily engaged to someone else.
Keep reading to find out more…“I keep seeing all these videos that I am being tagged in with another actor and people speculating, what that is, it’s really annoying me because I’m literally engaged,” Laura started. “That’s important to me, and you know, I’m in Hollywood, I get it. People do PR stunts, whatever, people like to get attention.”
Laura‘s comments come after Shameik posted a video on X of the two of them posing together at an event along with the caption, “coming soon” with the musical notes emoji. Laura says that the video was taken a year ago when “someone asked them” to take photos together.
Laura went on to explain that she usually keeps her personal life out of the spotlight, but reiterated that she is happily engaged to creative consultant Sam Jarou, but many questioned if something was going on between she and Shameik.
“Not sure why you would post that now. And so I texted him, we’re not close, like I know him just from around,” Laura said. “And I texted him, ‘Hey, can you take this down? Not sure why you would post that. Also I’m literally getting married and I don’t like this insinuation that there is something going on between us if that was your intention.’”
“It’s still up, which is f–king weird,” she continued. “You’re a f–king weirdo. I’m sorry. You’re a f–king weirdo. And I’m f–king annoyed.”
“I just wanted to say something because I don’t like that,” Laura said, before adding that she “doesn’t like” her “marriage” or herself “being disrespected.”
She then went on to call out Shameik for using her “image to get attention with.”
After Laura shared the TikTok, Shameik has taken down the post and deleted his X account.
