Company recalls over 541,000 winter tires for lack of snow traction

DETROIT. Michigan: Prinx Chengshan Tire North America is recalling more than 541,000 replacement winter tires in the U.S. because they fail to meet North American snow traction standards.

The recall involves over 100 sizes of Fortune Tormenta and Prinx Hicountry tires, which display the three-peak mountain snowflake symbol on their sidewalls.
