QUEEN'S PARK supporters are the best at backing the Spiders - and now there's physical evidence of just how well our loyal fans and members support their club.
Week in, week out you’ve cheered on Callum Davidson and the team.
Now Queen’s Park Supporters Association have literally BACKED the other team of Spiders they see on a Saturday… the BALL ATTENDANTS.
It’s the season of goodwill and the youngsters who assist the players and groundstaff at Hampden received an early Christmas present from the fundraising of the QPSA in the form of new rain jackets while they’re on duty pitchside.
It’s a vital piece of kit to the kids on the sidelines come rain, hail, snow or more rain and they’ve already been put to good use against Partick Thistle, Rangers and Airdrieonians.
Talk about a winter warmer?
The gift of new gear was also delivered in association with Pitch Teamwear and long-time club partners Turban Tandoori restaurant where there’s always a warm welcome in Giffnock.
Head of Commercial Kieran Koszary said: “Thanks go to John, Keith and all the guys at the QPSA for this latest gift in their brilliant ongoing support for the team and the club.
“Thanks also too, to Alan and Frank at Pitch Teamwear and to Bobby and all the fantastic staff at Turban Tandoori.”
Life member John Richmond added: “The Queen’s Park Supporters Association presented the hard-working ball attendants with their brand new rain jackets before our recent home match with Falkirk.
“The supporters association is delighted to sponsor the rain jackets along with our good friends the Turban in Giffnock.”
