Capri 14.2; Bought a gasket kit from Catalina Direct. Need instructions, please

Hello, I have a Capri 14.2 with a trashed centerboard gasket. bought a gasket kit from Catalina Direct. The kit doesn't make sense It comes with no instructions. It comes with two long pieces of Dacron 2 inches wide. It also has two plastic battens to cover the gaskets. the gaskets are 2 inches wide. The indentation in the hull around the centerboard well is 2.5 inches wide. Placing the gasket halves side by side is 4 inches wide, width is larger than the gap. I am about to cut the Dacron...
