CELEBRITY Gogglebox fans have ripped into Channel 4 just minutes into a ‘new episode’ of the hit show.
Viewers of the star-studded version of the fly on the wall series got settled in for what they thought was a new instalment.
However, just minutes into the episode they realised it was a ‘repeat’ of a previously broadcast episode.
It turned out Celebrity Gogglebox bosses had clipped together the last series’ best bits into a compilation episode.
Seething on social media, one fan wrote: “Really getting f****d off with the TV recently! EVERYTHING seems to be repeats! Got settled to watch Celeb Gogglebox thinking it was a new series, or a Christmas special! Oh how wrong am I! YET AGAIN ANOTHER REPEAT!”
A second fumed: “A Christmas compilation episode on the last Friday before Christmas is very disappointing.”
“Why are you calling this a new episode? It’s not new,” swiped a third.
While a fourth commented: “Where is Gogglebox? Why have Ch4 put on a summer edition with so called Celebrities in it? Not good I’ll watch No Time To Die. Thanks for nothing, Ch4.”
Some of the celebs appearing in the episode included Rylan Clark and his mum Linda, Danny Dyer and his daughter Dani, Clare Balding and Alice Arnold and Stephen Mangan and his sister Anita.
Meanwhile, a civilian fan-favourite has bravely opened up on her Bell’s Palsy diagnosis.
Sue Sheehan’s candidly spoke of her battle with the neurological disorder, which can cause temporary paralysis of the muscles in the side of the face.
Sue opened up on learning to live with the condition, which is, in most cases, temporary.
She said: “I mean I’ve actually learned to do a couple of things since this Bell’s Palsy,” to which her spouse replied: “Have you?”
She continued: “Yeah one is to speak through the side of my mouth
and the other one is chewing, chewing takes a long time.”
