She is an ex-dancer who is used to living a luxurious lifestyle, flying from Japan to New York for dinner on one occasion.
The mum-of-two was wed to Richie Dews, but their union was short-lived.
Richie was a sales advisor working in the music industry, who described himself as a deep, clever and socially and emotionally intelligent man.
Lara and Richie decided to split up during week three of the experiment due to a “lack of communication.”
Lara added that she felt she was unable to provide for Richie’s “emotional need.”
After their split, Richie confessed: “If I’m really honest, I’m heartbroken because part of me thought she was the one.”
While Lara hit back, saying: “I wanted sunset walks on the beach, and he wanted personal growth.”
The pair have unfollowed each other on Instagram and seem to be living very different lives.
Richie has thrown himself into work, launching a website called GearUp Guru, offering tips on how to nail music performances, recordings, and songwriting.
Meanwhile, Lara has been spilling the tea on her podcast, Lara on Eyre, where she dishes all the gossip from MAFS and catches up with past couples and contestants.
On Friday, Lara took to social media to share a video from a hospital bed.
In an Instagram video, she urged her followers to pack a hospital bag, as she was missing many essentials and home comforts.
She captioned her post: “Ending up in hospital is scary, stressful, and strange but having some of your essentials and creature comforts can lessen the anxiety pack a GO bag so you are ready just in case a few things I wish I had clean knickers lol, hair brush fuzzy socks, makeup wipes, baby wipes, toothbrush, book, charger, pjs, eye mask, ear plugs and the list goes on…
The warning signs of an asthma attack
MOST children and adults with asthma have times when their breathing becomes more difficult.
Some people with severe asthma may even have breathing problems most of the time.
The most common symptoms of asthma are:
- Wheezing (a whistling sound when breathing)
- Breathlessness
- A tight chest – it may feel like a band is tightening around it
- Coughing
Many things can cause these symptoms, but they’re more likely to be asthma if they:
- Happen often and keep coming back
- Are worse at night and early in the morning
- Seem to happen in response to an asthma trigger like exercise or an allergy (such as to pollen or animals)
However, in severe cases, what’s known as an asthma attack can strike. These kill three people every day in the UK.
Symptoms of an asthma attack include:
- Symptoms that get worse (coughing, breathlessness, wheezing or a tight chest)
- Your reliever inhaler (usually blue) not helping
- Being too breathless to speak, eat or sleep
- Breathing getting faster and or feeling like you cannot catch your breath
- A peak flow score that is lower than normal
Children may also complain of a tummy or chest ache.
Symptoms will not necessarily occur suddenly. In fact, they often come on slowly over a few hours or days.
If you think you or someone you know is having an asthma attack, you should:
- Sit up straight and try to keep calm
- Take one puff of your reliever inhaler (usually blue) every 30 to 60 seconds up to 10 puffs
- If you feel worse or do not feel better after 10 puffs, call 999 for an ambulance
- If the ambulance has not arrived after 10 minutes, repeat step 2.
- If your symptoms do not improve again and the ambulance has still not arrived, call 999 again immediately
If you’re on the right asthma treatment, your chance of having an attack is greatly reduced.
See a GP if you think you or your child may have asthma, or you have asthma and are finding it hard to control.

“And leave the bag where a friend can easily find it so you don’t have to stress explaining or asking them to pack for you when your not well so my little asthma sufferers be prepared and enjoy winter!!!”
Following her time on MAFS, Lara set tongues wagging during a fan Q&A on Instagram when she revealed she had dated a very famous actor.
She sheepishly confessed, “I may have dated someone from Sons Of Anarchy” in response to the question: “Who’s your most famous ex?”
Fans promptly scoured the internet for clues to work out which of the hit biker gang show’s actors she was in a relationship with.
The mum-of-two remained silent about the Hollywood A-lister’s identity, but finally came clean during an exclusive interview with The Sun.
Former professional dancer and model Lara confessed: “It’s Charlie Hunnam. I dated Charlie Hunnam for a while, he was lovely and I’ve always had a soft spot for him.
“I was friends with Antony Cotton who is on Coronation Street, and he was filming Queer As Folk.
“I saw Charlie on the television and I said, ‘That guy is so hot, I have to be introduced,’ so he introduced us and that’s how we got together.
“He was a bit younger than me and it started after he finished filming the first season Queer As Folk, and we were kind of seeing each other as the second one started.
“We split up for a while and then we got back together. I lived in Tokyo and Thailand and he was in America, so we met up a few times in New York and LA.
“We went our separate ways and then he got so famous and I had no way to get in touch with him because I’d changed my number.
“I doubt he’s going to see messages from me on Instagram, it would probably go straight into his spam folder.
“We lost touch but he’s a great guy and I had such a laugh with him.”
