2,200 cases of violence against Hindus ,other minorities in Bangladesh: Govt

India has voiced concerns to Bangladesh over 2,200 reported cases of violence against minorities this year, urging Dhaka to ensure their safety. This follows a strained period in bilateral relations after political upheaval in Bangladesh and increased attacks on minorities, including the arrest of a Hindu monk.
