Delhi polls: AAP replaces convicted MLA Naresh Yadav from Mehrauli with Mahender Chaudhary

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) replaced its Mehrauli candidate, Naresh Yadav, following his conviction in a Quran desecration case. Yadav, the sitting MLA, received a two-year sentence. AAP selected Mahender Chaudhary as the new candidate. Yadav stated he wouldn't contest until acquitted, after informing AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal of his decision.
