Man accused of stealing $900K Ferrari supercar arrested

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The owner of a Ferrari supercar is back behind the wheel after it was stolen earlier Thursday, authorities said.

Kevin John Miller, 36, is accused of stealing the light green 2023 Ferrari SF90 Spider Hybrid valued at $900,000, the Portland Police Bureau said. He was booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center on multiple charges.

Police said an officer responded just after 2 p.m. on reports of the Ferrari being stolen form near Northwest 10th Avenue and Northwest Lovejoy Street.

The vehicle's owner told police he was tracking the car and gave the officer its location — near Northwest 16th Avenue and Northwest Kearney Street.

The police officer conveyed the information to his colleagues over the radio and another patrol officer who was near the car spotted it.

"Officers gathered information that two possible suspects had walked away from the parked vehicle, and the officers quickly caught up with them at Northwest 15th Avenue and Northwest Lovejoy Street," Portland police said in a release. "One man was determined to be the suspect who took the car and he was arrested."

Miller was arrested on a previous warrant and new charges that included unauthorized use of a vehicle and possession of a stolen vehicle.

The Ferrari owner got his vehicle back undamaged.
