A year without justice. Out of power, yet PiS-instigated prosecutions drag on

“One year after the change of power, yet hundreds of people are still being prosecuted by the Prosecutor’s Office on charges tailored by the Law and Justice party,” says Bartosz Kramek, Chair of the Supervisory Board of the Open Dialogue Foundation, in an interview with naTemat. 

This includes organisers of local Women’s Strike, participants in KOD protests, activists who campaign against abortion stigma, and citizens involved in protests against the politicisation of the judiciary. According to Kramek, whose family has experienced detention, deportation and a hate campaign at the hands of the previous government, the 15 October Coalition is as yet failing.
