Jasper Carrott, 79, seen in rare public appearance as he slow dances with wife of 53 years at son’s wedding
GOLDEN Balls host Jasper Carrott has made a rare public appearance 15 years after the iconic gameshow came to an end.
English comedian, TV host, and actor Jasper, 79, was the host of the hit game show Golden Balls on ITV in the noughties.
The show, which saw contestants receive golden balls filled with cash before deciding whether to split or steal, aired on ITV from 2007 until 2009.
And now Jasper has been seen 15 years since the show aired its 289th and final ever episode.
Jasper, 79, has now been seen in a very rare public appearance while slow dancing with his wife of 53 years.
The sweet display of affection came as Jasper and his wife Hazel attended their son’s wedding.
Lucy Davis, Jasper’s 51-year-old daughter, shared some snaps from her brother’s wedding this week.
Like her dad, Lucy is a big name in the world of entertainment and is best known for her acting work.
The actress, best known for playing Dawn Tinsley in the BBC comedy The Office, shared some sweet moments from her brother’s wedding on social media.
Among the offering of snaps, Lucy shared a photograph of her parents Hazel and Jasper Carrott dancing at the ceremony.
Alongside the photo of her parents, she wrote: “Almost 53 years of marriage.
“Gave me a bit of a lump in the ol throat to see my folks dancing together at my brother’s wedding. #marriagelife.”
‘YOUR DAD IS AN ICON’
Fans were overjoyed to see Jasper making an appearance on social media, with many flocking to the comments section.
“They are amazing people and always have been how lucky you and your family are enjoy every moment,” penned one.
A second then said: “Great to see your dad too, he’s very well loved by the U.K.”
“I grew up watching your dad and seeing him brings back so many happy, joyful kid giggling moments,” penned a third.
A fourth person then added: “Couldn’t love this more. Sending you ALL a massive hug!!”
A fifth said: “I was hoping for some photos of our Jasper!”
And a sixth gushed: “Aww, how cute your parents look.”
While someone else said: “Your dad is an icon!”
LOVE AND MARRIAGE
Jasper married journalist Hazel Jackson in 1972, with them having been married for more than 50 years.
The former Golden Balls host has three children, one son and two daughters: Jake Davis, Lucy Davis, and Jenny Davis.
The Office star Lucy also shared some more snaps from her brother’s big day, with the blonde beauty providing fans with a glimpse into their family life away from the screen.
“The sun came out for that one day. #brotherswedding Also @hunterreesepena – proof of clothing being worn,” she penned in the caption of a snap of herself showing off her outfit.
Lucy looked great in a golden halterneck dress, with her hair styled in glamorous curls.
In the snap of the actress beaming into the camera lens, one person wrote: “Drop dead gorgeous,” while someone else said: “Stunning. You look absolutely luminous.”
