Patrick Mahomes goes big with lavish Christmas gifts for O-Line
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Patrick Mahomes is spreading some Christmas cheer through the Kansas City Chiefs locker room, and it seems the quarterback spent a pretty penny on gifts for his offensive line.
The Chiefs' official X account shared a post that read, "QB1 spread some Christmas cheer by giving gifts to the o-line," accompanied by photos of the lavish presents.
One of the gifts given was Red Yeti Tundra Haul wheeled coolers. The coolers retail for $425 each.
Instead of adding ice or beverages to the coolers, Mahomes decided to play Santa Claus and stuff each cooler with high-end gifts.
The star quarterback also gave his teammates Normatec Elite air compression leg attachments by Hyperice. The recovery devices retail for $999 each.
Additionally, Mahomes gifted Rolex watches, Oakley sunglasses, Lucchese leather boots, WHOOP bands, and items from Addidas' Black Y-3 collection.
Although exact numbers are unknown, estimates indicate the total value for each player was around $25,000.
Mahomes buying his O-line exquisite gifts is nothing new.
Last year, he went viral after gifting his O-line some custom golf carts, which they took for a spin around the lots of the Truman Sports Complex. In 2020, after the Chiefs' Super Bowl victory, Mahomes reportedly gifted custom golf clubs to the offensive line.
