Bluesound Launches New Flagship Music Streamer

Bluesound has launched the NODE ICON, its new flagship wireless music streamer. Now available globally for $999, the NODE ICON features Dual-Mono DAC architecture with two ESS SABRE ES9039Q2M DACs for precise playback with ultra-low distortion.

The new music streamer is fitted with an aluminum chassis, gloss black finish, 5″ full color display, and a multitude of digital and analog connectivity options. Bluesound says that the original NODE was the company’s most popular product, and the NODE ICON builds upon the original’s success after years of research and development.

QRONO d2a: The NODE ICON supports MQA Labs’ QRONO d2a processing technology, improving the overall impulse response and transparency of digital-to-analog conversion.
High-Performance ADC: The NODE ICON features the latest two-channel ES9826 SABRE for true analog-to-digital conversion.

Dirac Live Ready: The NODE ICON will support Dirac Live Room Correction with a future software upgrade and additional license purchase. This technology allows users to measure and correct room acoustics to eliminate distortions and create a balanced listening experience in any environment.
Multi-Room Music: Integration into the BluOS ecosystem, allowing for wireless multi-room playback on Bluesound speakers and components around the home. It also allows users to connect the NODE ICON to other BluOS enabled devices from DALI Loudspeakers, Monitor Audio, NAD Electronics, PSB Speakers, and Roksan.
