Microsoft-backed OpenAI brings ChatGPT to WhatsApp via 1-800-ChatGPT

With this experimental service, the company aims to make the popular chatbot more accessible by eliminating the need for a dedicated account or app. As per OpenAI, users in the US will get 15 minutes of free voice calls per month via the phone number. Competitor Meta already offers its own AI assistant, Meta AI, on WhatsApp.
