Paycom donates $112,500 to Salvation Army for the holidays

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) - Paycom announced on Wednesday, a generous donation to the Salvation Army of Central Oklahoma reaching the 1 million dollar milestone since it's 2012 partnership.

According to Paycom, the organization selects a wide range of nonprofits that align with it's employees values while matching every dollar donated through the company employee giving program.

Paycom leaders presented The Salvation Army of Central Oklahoma a check totaling $112,500 in support of its mission saying, "I’m honored to see the lasting impact of our partnership with The Salvation Army,” said Tiffany Gamblin, senior director of HR operations at Paycom and advisory board member for The Salvation Army of Central Oklahoma. “The collective efforts of our team, from every donation to every volunteer hour, have truly made a world of difference in the lives of those who need it most.”

Additionally, both organizations increased its holiday impact donating over 1,000 winter coats and 250 care packages serving seniors.

“Thanks to the compassion and generosity of Paycom employees, we can reach even more individuals to offer them stability and hope,” said Major Russell Clay, area commander of The Salvation Army of Central Oklahoma. “We are very grateful for their unwavering support and commitment to the communities we help.”
