Quartet passes first test at Asian Tour Qualifying School Final Stage

Hua Hin, Thailand, December 18: Gregory Foo, James Leow, Nicklaus Chiam and Koh Dengshan survived the 36-hole cut as they progressed to the third round of the Asian Tour Qualifying School Final Stage on Wednesday.
They were among the leading 140 and ties making it through to the next two rounds after the cut was set at two over.
The top 70 and ties on day four make it into the final round on Saturday, where the leading 35 will earn cards for next year.
Foo emerged as the highest-placed Singaporean in tied-21st place after firing a five-under-par 66 for a two-day total of five-under-par 137 to stay in the hunt of securing his Tour card.

James Leow returned with a 69 to also keep alive his hopes of earning his playing status on the Asian Tour after finishing 36 holes in tied-46th place that also included Chiam, who carded a 67.
Koh, meanwhile, signed for a 71 for 78th place.
Ryan Ang and Justin Han did not make the grade after posting aggregate scores of 145 and 157 respectively.
