Kashmir reels under intense cold conditions; Srinagar experiences coldest night

Srinagar shivered through its coldest night yet this season. Temperatures plunged below freezing. A thin layer of fog enveloped parts of the city. Dal Lake's edges froze. Water supply lines also froze in many areas. Pahalgam and Gulmarg, popular tourist spots, recorded significantly low temperatures. Konibal was the valley's coldest spot.
