The Ponty Rugby Show with special guest Mike Griffiths

The GTFM Ponty Rugby Show will be broadcast on Wednesday evening the 18th of December at its usual time of 6:45pm, hosted by club media team members Guto Davies and Iestyn Thomas.

This week’s show will be a ‘valleys derby’ special, ahead of the Pontypridd v Ystrad Rhondda match on Saturday, with an extended interview with special guest Mike Griffiths.

Renown as one of the most formidable scrummagers of his era, former Wales international and British & Irish Lions tourist ‘Micky Griff’ has close links as a player and coach with both Pontypridd and Ystrad Rhondda, having also represented Bridgend, Cardiff and London Wasps.

This will be the last Ponty Rugby Show before taking a short break over the Christmas and New Year holiday period.

GTFM’s FM coverage reaches the whole of the Cynon Valley – on 107.1FM for the Aberdare area and 100.7 for Mountain Ash. Broadcasts for Pontypridd and the rest of RCT continue on 107.9FM. The channel can also be accessed on-line and by app.
