GitHub down UPDATES: Thousands of users locked out of specialist projects after major outage crashes site

THOUSANDS of software developers have been locked out of specialist projects after a major outage crashed GitHub.

According to Downdetector, more than 1,300 users in the UK and 2,000 in the US have reported the issue as of 3pm.

GitHub’s status page is reporting that live updates on pages “are not loading reliably”.
