Chennai comes to standstill as Gukesh participates in parade

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin will honor newly crowned World Chess Champion D. Gukesh with a ₹5 crore cheque on Tuesday. Gukesh, 18, returned to Chennai after his historic victory against Ding Liren in Singapore, becoming the youngest World Champion ever.
